The contact with the hosts was very smooth, they were extremely helpful in every situation. It is very convenient that they live nearby so you can arrange the time of taking and giving back the keys without very long notice. The hosts know English very well. It's not very common to meet such nice people :-)

Their hospitality is over and beyond what I expected.

Luigi and Scila were perfect hosts. I felt so welcome and taken care of by the two of them. Their hospitality is over and beyond what I expected. I felt like I was staying with family. They made sure I was oriented with the public transport and Luigi supplied a portable internet, so I could be connected in Milan. The apartment was exactly as described, brand-new, with a fully, stocked kitchen with enough food for breakfast and to cook meals over a couple of days. I especially appreciated the washing machine and laundry facilities. The apartment is well-located, with the metro just 5 minutes away, and the Duomo three stops away. It was also close to the Bocconi University and supermarkets and restaurants. Will certainly come back if I was visiting Milan again.

Simply an amazing apartment with the most excellent host

Only 3-4 stops from Duomo, the center of the city! Price was extremely fair for the amount of space, cleanliness, and gracious host. The layout of the apartment is well thought out with modern design elements, and all the furnitures, TV, and bathroom fixtures look practically brand new.

Nice and cozy flat, well equipped, even with plenty of food in the pantry and the fridge. They are the most welcoming hosts, and extremely friendly, they'll make you feel at home. The communication was prompt and easy, and the owner makes himself available at any time you should need something. I confirm all the positive comments of the previous reviewers. The flat is highly recommended, also because of the very convenient location, quite strategic to get around with subway and trams.

The host was incredibly welcoming and ensured that our stay was enjoyable. His home is beautiful and had all the facilities you need. He even left food for us in the fridge and cupboards to start us off. The location is really central so easy to get to all the tourist destinations. He provided us with guide books for our stay in Milan and even had menus for surrounding restaurants for us to eat. He has a mobile internet which is fast and he encourages you to carry this with you during the day. This was incredibly helpful for us in navigating around milan with internet on hand. The host was always contactable and prompt with responding. I will definitely stay here again.

The apartment was immaculate - The beds were comfortable - I slept like a baby

We highly recommend this host. My wife and 3 year old daughter spent one night in this Milan apartment on our way from NYC to Sicilia. The apartment which was clean and quiet is minutes from both the tram and the Metro. We e-mailed the host from Malpensa Airport and he was waiting for us at the flat when we arrived there about an hour later. We were pretty jet-lagged during our time in Milano but we did manage to take the tram to the Duomo (a Gothic cathedral in central Milan). The Duomo is about a 20 minute walk or 10 minute tram ride from the flat. It was just the right amount of effort for us to exert after our first night in Italy before heading to Bergamo Airport. The apartment was immaculate. The beds were comfortable. It is worth noting that I am pretty fussy about my beds. I am old and crotchety. I have a broken back, a broken arm, and complain without inhibition about uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. I slept like a baby. I am somewhat chagrined to admit this but I have an apartment that I rent out in New Mexico and the owner was a far more personable, friendly, helpful considerate host than I ever am. When we left they helped us carry our bags to the Metro.

This place was like home

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our stay and still talk about it! The hosts waited for our arrival (which was delayed many hours due to the Air France strike) till past 11PM and welcomed us warmly. They were extremely accommodating and kind. There was enough food in the fridge and coffee for us to eat breakfast at home. We were also grateful for the portable wifi machine they provided for free during our stay. On our checkout day, they met us by the metro station and even bought us coffee while we got to chat a little before we had to say goodbye.
Their place and their hospitality MADE our Milan trip! We really do hope to get to visit Milan again and stay at their place :-)
